Star Trek TNG – The Modala Imperative #1 – 4 (1991) : 100 years after the Enterprise inadvertently aided a revolution on the planet Modala, the former rebels-turned-administrators are planning on celebrating 100 years of freedom and want as many of the original Enterprise crew to celebrate with them. Ambassador Spock and Admiral McCoy return to the planet with the Enterprise-D crew, only to find an unpleasant answer to the century-old question “who supplied the alien weapons to the former tyrants of the planet?” Caught in another planetary revolution, McCoy and Spock deal with memories of the past, discontent with the present, and uncertainty for the future, only to be reminded the more things change the more they stay the same.
