A Marvel NOW! title featuring Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Iron Man as The Guardians of the Galaxy. After Age of Ultron it also introduced Angela to the Marvel Universe. During the All-New Marvel NOW! relaunches, Iron Man was replaced with Captain Marvel and Venom (Flash Thompson). The original creative team consisted of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Steve McNiven. The series ended with issue 27 due to the Secret Wars crossover and was replaced with the Secret Wars tie-in series “Guardians of Knowhere”. After Secret Wars, the series was restarted as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 4.
