Maximum Security (Story Arc) (2000-2001) : An Intergalactic council decides to punish Earth for their constant involvement into their affairs. First they quarantine Earth within it’s own solar system by creating an impervious barrier generated by thousands of ‘watchtowers’. They also deem Earth to be a Prison planet where the dregs of the Universe are sent in hopes of keeping Earth busy from even trying to break through the barrier. Ego, The Living Planet infests earth. The Kree become Ruul. Then leading Earth’s heroes is no other than U.S. Agent.
