Danger Unlimited #1 – 4 (1994) : This series was admittedly written to satiate John Byrne’s desire to return to the Fantastic Four. Byrne felt at the time that Marvel’s First family had strayed far away from who they really were, so he created Danger Unlimited as part of the new creator controlled experiment “Legend Comics” to fill the void.

Unfortunately , and due in part to the collapse of the speculation market in the mid 90’s, sales were not what they were expected to be , and John Byrne decided it was not profitable enough to continue. All four issues have a back up story featuring the Captain America like character “Torch Of Liberty”
